About the T-5 Unit

The T-5 Supercharger is a clean sheet design, not a copy. What sets it and us apart from all the others is its ability to produce enormous mass and pressure at low to midrange, as well as top end power, providing acceleration at all rpms.

Screw and roots type superchargers kick in with near full boost right off idle, placing higher stress on the drivetrain. Turbochargers also do this, in addition to having heat soak into the engine and being generally harder to tune and harder to install.  Moreover, aftermarket installations require the engine to be set up for the application, which is more expensive, yet there may still be lag for high power needs, i.e., you must wait for the power to kick in as you’re accelerating.

A centrifugal supercharger can be configured to produce more low and midrange torque and yet be easier on the drivetrain. After countless model runs, both in racing and in street applications, the T-5 was designed to accomplish just that. Utilizing one of the largest diameter impellers in the industry, it pumps out mass at lower rpms, boost comes in early and builds fast to the top end. The T-5 shines with big volume and boost all the way through the rpm band to produce torque in the mid range and horsepower on top end. And it does it all with modular versatility.
